We are looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our team and seek candidates with solid front-end web or back-end services skills. As part of our team, you will be working on the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate Process Mining.

We are a highly collaborative group, and everyone's ideas and contributions count. As a software engineer on our team, you will design, implement, and maintain large-scale services and user-friendly experiences, taking ownership of features from development to production. Our development goals focus on high performance, ease of use, stability, and the availability of process mining as a service. You will focus on enabling continuous delivery at scale, ensuring high-quality outputs, and innovation to bring ideas from concept to scale in an agile, data-driven, and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements for features, incorporating feedback from various channels to continuously improve based on customer value and usage metrics.

• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions. Write maintainable code, apply best practices, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Drive project implementation from planning and experimentation to deployment. Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and ensure features are deployed safely to meet user needs.

• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) on a rotational, on-call basis, maintaining and supporting live services. Identify and mitigate issues impacting performance or functionality, and drive efforts to reduce incident volume through telemetry and data analytics.

• Promote engineering excellence by developing and utilizing software development tools, advocating for automation, and ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards.

• Stay current with technological developments, apply best practices for scalable and reliable product development, and maintain effective communication with partners across the organization.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND Mid to Senior level technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

• Understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React/Redux and TypeScript.

• Experience developing cloud services on Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud platforms.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND Mid to Senior level technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND Mid-Level technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

• Passion for high-availability, automation, performance and building highly available distributed systems at scale.

• Experience working on WPF is a plus.

• Ability to work as part of geo-distributed group.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
