The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.

We are looking for a seasoned leader to lead CMOF (Cloud Manufacturing Operations Fulfillment) that supports Readiness Engineering, Network infrastructure deployments, Product data management and Procurement Operations through effective partnerships and communications with global team and partners. Responsibilities

As a principal group engineering manager, lead and develop a high performing team of supply chain professionals to expand cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. You will also be responsible for a large group of hardware engineers / program managers and their managers - making sure your group is thriving and productive, nurturing individuals’ careers and cultivating Microsoft values within it. To do that you will need to – Lead and manage a group of Hardware engineers / Program managers - individual contributors and their managers - promoting a culture of ownership and accountability. Guide the group in the readiness engineering, network infrastructure deployments, product design and operations. Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet all business requirements Work closely across groups and disciplines to shape the solutions and make sure they provide value to our customers Build analytics to enable business to make data driven decisions Mentor and coach team members, assisting with their professional growth. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on organization goals and deliverables. Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and customer-focus within the team. Comply with project plans and industry standards. Lead by example high level of technical excellence, and act as a trusted advisor for the team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

15+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 6+ years people management experience. Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

18+ years of relevant Supply Chain / Cloud experience, engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience

10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects 6+ years people management experience

Demonstrate strong people leadership and guidance to the team on work ethics, people practices, goal setting, performance appraisals, employee engagement; development and maintain highly motivated team Knowledge about datacenters & operations at scale.

Experience managing hardware programs through the entire product lifecycle.

Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, adept at using data to influence business decision making, ability to think strategically and act operationally Experience in Lean principles is an advantage Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
