As a Consulting Account Manager Intern, you will contribute to the overall One Microsoft strategy and assist with the Consulting sales account strategy. Participating in the Consulting account team account-planning preparation, you will understand Consulting sales priorities and collaborate with Consulting delivery/account-aligned leads to leverage insights and provide input to the overall account plan. You will demonstrate a deep understanding of a customer’s business and differentiate them in complex selling environments by sharing insights, reframing the status quo, and helping quantify business impact that motivates customers to take action. Orchestrates the Consulting-sales relationship with the core account team, driving for a positive One Microsoft customer experience by collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure successful creation, maintenance, and execution of the account plan.

Type of Employment: Student Worker
• Determines planning prioritization for one or multiple assigned accounts based on customer needs, revenue importance, growth opportunities, and account risks with minimal guidance.
• Identifies actions required to drive Consulting catalog opportunities that are aligned with the account strategy, Microsoft's strategy, and Consulting catalog go-to-market solution plays.
• Contributes to creating and managing connections and driving agreement between necessary stakeholders within Microsoft and customers.
• Seeks customer feedback and insights. Anticipates issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determines the root cause of problems, removes blockers, and begins to establish recovery action plan to improve customer's overall experience.
• Builds and maintains up-to-date knowledge of customer's business priorities, risks and challenges, internal landscape (e.g., organization structure, stakeholders, business performance), industry/sector challenges, regulations, trends, and futures (e.g., impact of artificial intelligence [AI], sustainability) to meet customer needs and drive customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship.
• Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
• Fluency in German.
