Microsoft Corporation Director of Partner Readiness in Multiple Locations, Brazil

Microsoft is looking for a Director of Partner Readiness to lead partner training, learning, and growth across the Global Partner Solutions Americas ecosystem. As the Director of Partner Readiness, you will lead a team of skilled professionals that are responsible for analyzing current partner capacity, developing a regional readiness plan by key solution areas, and executing that readiness plan across all partner types. This is a strategic role that provides a tremendous opportunity for generating business impact across the Americas organization and engaging with leaders across the business to align on our shared vision of enabling partners to drive meaningful business outcomes for our customers. This role requires a breadth of experience across cloud partner ecosystems with a track record of proven success in working in a fast-paced environment and managing and influencing stakeholders without authority. Responsibilities

  • Assess overall partner ecosystem capabilities and capacity, identify capacity needed to meet fiscal year revenue goals, and work with global readiness / skilling and GTM teams to design a plan to meet these goals

  • Lead the effort to prioritize certifications and specializations in key solution areas to deliver on fiscal year revenue goals and priorities

  • Collect real-time partner feedback at events, share insights with Global Partner Readiness Community, and incorporate partner feedback from surveys, focus groups, partner-facing resources into regional partner readiness plan

  • Identify teams and resources to be used in training delivery across all partner types to include Independent Software Vendors, Solution Integrators (SI) and Channel Partners

  • Execute regional readiness plan across key solution areas, in collaboration with global and Americas GTM, technical, and product teams

  • Own the Americas Partner Readiness rhythm of the business and manage applicable budgets

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 8+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years experience mentoring and/or coaching others. 

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years people management experience. Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 7+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 10+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years experience of working with senior executives to track the health of large partner ecosystems, identify challenges and gaps to meeting business goals, and develop and execute a robust plan to enable the ecosystem to meet those goals

  • 8+ years working in the tech industry in a partner ecosystem environment and knowledge of different partner types (Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Solution Integrators (SI) and Channel Partners).
