Our Dragon Medical One (DMO) solution is a cloud-based speech recognition platform that enables clinicians to document patient care using their voice, saving time, and reducing errors and is integrated with various EMRs.

Responsibilities

As a Dragon Medical One Trainer and Adoption Specialist, you will be an integral part of the project team that delivers DMO to our customers in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Act as a Dragon Medical One and EMR subject matter expert.

  • Leading the clinical engagements, discovery, design, and identifying areas of improvement to enhance workflows and build efficiencies through the introduction of speech recognition.

  • Designing training strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure clinicians are provided with the skills and support they need to be successful and gain the benefits of DMO.

  • Delivering training sessions to healthcare professionals on how to use DMO effectively and efficiently with their EMR, using various methods such as virtual, classroom, 1 to 1, or on-site at the elbow.

  • Provide enablement training and support to customer training resources to ensure they are fully skilled to provide ongoing training and support required for sustainability.

  • Providing a crucial feedback loop to the project team to capture the clinician experience.

  • Providing admin support, such as adding or removing users/licenses, managing content, and generating reports when required.

  • Supporting embedding DMO to ensure that the software is aligned with the customer's clinical, operational, and regulatory needs.

  • Immersing yourself within the customers project and operational teams to understand the business and to drive best practice accordingly.

  • Monitoring and analysing data points alongside the Microsoft Customer Success Executive (CSE) to proactively manage customers to high adoption, utilisation, optimisation, and satisfaction.

  • Identification, escalation, and resolution tracking for adoption blockers.

  • Create and execute Adoption Remediation Plans with clients who are not realising the expected benefits associated with the use of Nuance solutions.

  • Build relationships at various levels across the healthcare organisation from C-suite to end users to drive successful outcomes.

  • Producing learning resources to facilitate a blended training approach.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as health informatics, education, or nursing.

  • At least 3 years of experience in training and supporting clinicians in using EMRs, preferably Cerner.

  • Experience and solid knowledge of EMR workflows, clinical documentation, and quality improvement.

  • Experience and proficiency in using DMO or other speech recognition solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
