Your role and responsibilities
Your Role and Responsibilities :
With the Software Networking portfolio leadership team, develop and refine our strategic vision and plan alignment with business objectives and market dynamics
Collaborate with the Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and Initiatives across the product teams and our cross-functional peer groups- Facilitate the Annual fall and spring planning cycle
Lead cross-functional teams in conducting strategic analysis, market research, and competitive assessments to identify emerging trends, threats and opportunities
Provide thought leadership and guidance on new in-organic opportunities in the areas of software networking, cloud, automation and AI
Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and innovation efforts
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by championing new ideas, processes, and approaches
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including industry experts, investors, and strategic partners, to stay abreast of market developments.
Required technical and professional expertise
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
Relevant deep tech industry experience in cloud, K8s or networking in order to deeply asses strategy and acquisitions through market research on tight timelines associated with deals
Extensive experience in corporate development, management consulting, or investment banking related to technology businesses
Linking the above two areas of expertise, bring vision and direction to effectively manage a team of business analysts to deliver exemplary written communications for senior executives
Proven track record working as part of a leadership team, capable of building open, candid and respectful stakeholder relationships through which to drive impactful change.
Operated and influenced comfortably from C-suite to grassroots level of the organization, adapting style and approach to suit the situation.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of driving change to proactively influence our ambitious business goals.
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and adapt to market trends within our industry, including competitive threats, to position the portfolio for long-term success
Preferred technical and professional experience
Relevant industry certifications e.g., CCIE
Masters of Business Adminstration (MBA)
