QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Automation Technician in MUKWONAGO, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Set up or convert automated equipment according to work orders, safety procedures, and quality guidelines - Maintain organized automation storage areas to a 5S standard - Coordinate work efforts with other departments and employees - Calculate and maintain production rates - Document quality checks repairs adjustments and maintenance activities - Analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust or repair electrical pneumatic or mechanical components on automated equipment - Perform adjustments repairs and maintenance on machines to meet safety and workmanship standards. - Adjust modify and fabricate parts as needed - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as necessary or assigned ensuring proper lubrication and inspection - Propose solutions or improvements to minimize faults, alarms, and product scrap collaborating with affected departments - Maintain and advance skills through seminars and vendor training - Troubleshoot PLCs to minimize downtime editing or modifying PLCs is not a primary function ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Relevant work experience with proven electrical pneumatic and mechanical knowledge - Working knowledge of PLCs expected, PLC programming and editing preferred - Mechanical maintenance experience is a plus - Stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for up to 12 hours - Lift push or pull up to 70lbs - Use hand and power tools safely - Effective communication skills and ability to follow work instructions - Ability to work overtime on weekends and adapt to meet company needs - Advanced PC skills and knowledge - Climate-controlled facility with a variety of machines to work on ensuring no day is the same ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: teresa.considine@qpsemployment.com Apply Online: https://jobs.qpsemployment.com/jobs/743332 This position is listed by a private employment agency.
