Responsibilities:

  • Manage business activity from a pre-assigned portfolio credit as well as non-credit portfolio of around 35-40 companies and to achieve individual target.

  • Support the bank’s initiative in business promotion and cross-selling campaign and achieve departments profit segment target as a whole.

  • Collaborate with other members of the department to ensure that profit targets are achieved as a whole.

  • Monitor and track post approval credit issues or conditions including all covenants/ conditions/ instructions/ quarterly/ half yearly and all other reports related to credit matters.

  • Initiate credit submissions and renewals i.e. Credit Application, Interim Monitoring, Action Plan, Condition /Instruction /Report required (C/I/R).

  • Review or recover credit granted to borrowers which show signs of deterioration in business.

  • Prepare all relevant reports to Head Office/Regional Office, Credit Examiners, Credit Advisors and Central Bank for the portfolio assigned (where necessary).

  • Support Labuan Branch’s business promotion activities by providing various assistance which may be required from time to time.

  • Perform any other task that is assigned by Head of Department from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.

  • Preferably with minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience especially in Corporate Banking role. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Good knowledge of banking regulatory environment, relevant laws & regulations, industry trends and products.

  • Possess good written and oral communication skills in dealing with internal employees or external customers/client.

  • Strong PC skills particularly in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access.
