Job descriptions: HR Specialist responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge.

Essential duties:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Create job requisitions, coordinate offers, pre-employment activities, and onboarding. Conduct orientation for new hires.

  • HR Reporting: Generate payroll reports and manage HR documents for job status changes.

  • Training Coordination: Plan and facilitate training programs in compliance with OSHA standards.

  • Employee Relations: Maintain documentation and assist with employee relations issues.

  • Data Analysis: Compile and analyze monthly and annual statistics, prepare reports.

  • Community Engagement: Assist HR Manager with community initiatives.

    Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field

  • 3+ years of demonstrated HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite

  • Familiar with and proficient in navigation of HRIS and other related systems (Workday, ATS, ADP, eTime, PeopleSoft, ArcPlan, Aspen, or related

  • Familiar with standard Manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Intermediate knowledge of employment

  • Exposure to OSHA reporting, regulations and compliance
