Description Accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision this could be the Bookkeeper role for you if you are self-driven and organized. We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. The Full Charge Bookkeeper position is responsible for overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. The Full Charge Bookkeeper can also be responsible for the clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Mt Pleasant, South Carolina area. How you will make an impact

• Create cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

• Mark budget transfers

• Guide monthly accounting close

• Accounts Receivable

• Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

• Summarize business license and gross receipts

• Keep a check on Accounts Payable

• Work on special projects occasionally

• Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

• Provide cash flow projections, as needed

• Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

• Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments Requirements

• Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

• Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

• Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

• Job costing experience

• Quickbooks Online experience

• Construction Accounting experience

• US GAAP experience highly desired

• Excel Formulas experience preferred

• Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

• High attention to detail
