Constellis Records Management Specialist in Moyock, North Carolina

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a dual position that will assist with two major components of our Records Management Program. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Supervisor, Records Management with various incoming and outgoing boxes of records and the company's secure shred program. In addition to this, this role will be assisting the Manager, Document Control with electronic records in OnBase.

  • Review/inventory contents of boxes for business records.

  • Add/Retrieve boxes via forklift and manual means to/from slots in the onsite Document Storage Facility located in Moyock, NC.

  • Pick up and/or deliver boxes of business documents to office buildings on the ACADEMI Campus.

  • Coordinate the transfer of boxes of documents to/from other companies/locations under Constellis.

  • Facilitate and ensure the destruction of only the approved boxes takes place with a 100% accuracy rate.

  • Identify possible records management compliance issues and report them to the Supervisor of Records Management.

  • Utilize multiple Software Systems such as OnBase, IM Connect, and Jordan Lawrence.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all personnel information and business records.

  • Assist Supervisor of Records Management where needed.

  • Ability to travel within the United States (10% of job function).

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least two years of Document Control or Records Management experience preferred.

  • Jordan Lawrence/OnBase experience is a plus.

  • Must be able to obtain US Government Secret clearance.

  • Clean Driving Record is required.

  • Warehouse experience preferred.

  • Forklift Certification or willing to obtain certification at Constellis' expense.

  • Intermediate to advance level knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint applications is required with the ability to learn new software in a timely manner.

  • Possess effective oral and written communication skills in order to communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to competition.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is typically based in a busy office and warehouse environment and subject to frequent interruptions. May be exposed to outside weather conditions that change inside of warehouse climate and possible fumes in a warehouse type environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
