As part of our commitment to preventing fraud across all fintech products, we are expanding our Fraud Policy team, which utilizes cutting-edge AI technology to detect and prevent fraud while minimizing impact on good customers. As a Risk Policy lead, you will collaborate with Risk Operations, Decision Science, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Compliance teams to design and implement fraud mitigation risk strategies. What you'll bring
Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical ability with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred experience with Fintech in the areas of small business payment, banking, and/or lending.
Working knowledge of the fundamentals of risk policy, including fraud detection, 3rd party fraud, credit bureau data, scorecard modeling, pricing, loss forecasting, and disputes/collections.
Demonstrated experience in diving into data and deriving insights for business needs, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Proficient in statistical analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Python, R, and data visualization tools. Familiarity with big data technologies such as HIVE, Hadoop, AWS, and related concepts.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact with technical subjects and emerging technologies. Can negotiate, prioritize across teams, influence decision makers, and build consensus.
Experience working with third-party vendors related to risk is a plus.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsive and available during times of peak fraud activity.
Experience in Banking ACH Fraud is highly desirable.
How you will lead
In this role, you will focus on risk policy development for our Payments, Banking, Payroll, QuickBooks Capital, and other innovative fintech products. Your responsibilities will encompass fraud detection and prevention, as well as credit risk management. As a leader, you will drive fraud risk aspects of business initiatives and respond to fraud-related events and demands. Successful candidates will bring extensive expertise in fraud risk, financial analytics, and innovative risk strategies to enable Intuit's SMB growth and expansion, maximize profitability, and enhance trust-related merchant and consumer experiences.
