GFiber is expanding into new markets and the Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a key part in supporting that expansion strategy. Our TPMs are responsible for providing project and program management for our engineering teams. Our Fiber systems leverage cloud-based deployment environments requiring our TPMs to have domain knowledge and application of cloud platforms.

Role Description

As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will work on projects related to OSS and Cloud based applications, brought forth by the Systems and Tools teams. You’ll launch new programs in response to internal team and customer needs, working from inception to the execution phase while fostering accountability and maintaining an open culture of giving and receiving feedback. You’ll have access to a suite of mobile applications (on both iOS and Android platforms), customer web-based portals, backend systems built on Salesforce, fiber management systems, customer agent and ticketing tools, and object storage services (OSS). Because of the variety of systems and tools you’ll use, you’ll have access to data that you’ll translate into recommendations, action plans, and presentations to internal stakeholders, helping GFiber to deliver projects on time and budget.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the initiation and execution of complex programs that align with GFiber's business objectives and customer needs, focusing on the evolution of our OSS and cloud-based network applications.

• Direct and coordinate geographically distributed engineering teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless project execution through effective Agile methodologies (sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).

• Apply technical judgment to guide project delivery, conduct rigorous technology reviews, evaluate proposals, and build consensus among stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions.

• Own the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.

• Translate technical data from various systems (mobile apps, web portals, Salesforce, OSS) into actionable insights, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership, driving informed strategic decisions.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track record of delivering detailed projects.

• 5 years of experience delivering technical solutions including software development lifecycles and technical architecture.

• Experience in integrating network and cloud-based systems, including experience with network virtualization, SDN and cloud-native architectures (e.g., microservices, containers).

It's preferred if you have:

• 5 years of experience managing software projects on public cloud with focus on networking applications.

• Proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to anticipate and resolve complex technical challenges in fast-paced environments.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Experience with telecom specific OSS/BSS systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation within cloud and network environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $185,000 - $203,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
