Intuit Senior Software Engineer - Back End in Mountain View, California

Overview

Come join our Enterprise Identity and Access Governance Team within Intuit’s Cybersecurity, Compliance, Risk & Fraud Team (CyberCRAFT) as a Senior Engineer with a focus on Enterprise IAM

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products or business applications

  • Solid design and Object Oriented coding skills (C++, Springboot, Java, Python)

  • Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Governance domain

  • Strong knowledge of Spring, AWS and Kubernetes

  • Experience designing and developing distributed scalable and highly reliable enterprise-wide applications in Cloud. Experience with AWS is preferred.

  • Solid communication and influencing skills: Demonstrated ability to explain and document complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proficient in front-end and back-end architecture & design

  • Acting in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems

  • Able to operate at highly varying levels of abstraction from business strategy to product strategy to high level technical design to detailed technical design to implementation

  • Synthesize achievable solutions from diverse inputs, alternative sources (build / buy / partner) and complex data

  • Experience in AI/ML a plus

How you will lead

  • Drive design and implementation of durable and software solutions that will solve critical customer problems, are scalable, secure, easy to maintain, and interact with numerous other services/teams.

  • Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems

  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results

  • Gaining an understanding of our Current State and drive towards adoption of the target state architecture by executing on the strategy.

  • Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results

  • Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web apps

  • Roughly 90+% hands-on coding
