Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing cross-functional programs or projects.

  • Experience working with data in an engineering environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, including data science and engineering leads.

  • Experience in program management, change management, and communication strategy.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work-streams in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop subject matter knowledge to guide critical organization-wide initiatives, collaborating across teams and functions to achieve key objectives.

  • Improve processes by collaborating with cross-functional leaders to identify and address issues.

  • Identify and eliminate issues within existing programs and processes, prioritizing efficiency gains, and minimizing disruptions for Data Science and product teams.

  • Collaborate with engineering counterparts to develop and maintain tools, dashboards, and automation that reduces manual effort for product teams.

  • Leverage data and data teams to distill ideas and insights into concise, impactful communications tailored for diverse audiences and senior leadership.
