You will be on the leading edge of computing, building lasting relationships with various cross-functional groups to deliver high-performance and innovative machine-learning and floating-point hardware pipelines, using your extensive experience to develop hardware architectures and features. You are expected to work with limited direction, have attention to detail and be able to provide crisp status of progress, issues, and risks on the program to the management team.
Develop optimal and innovative high-performance floating-point silicon architectures for machine-learning and other applications.
Develop hardware models in C/C++.
Provide leadership in micro-architecture development and physical design.
BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in Engineering.
3+ years of experience in floating-point architecture and/or micro-architecture.
Experience with C/C++.
Machine-learning expertise / architecture experience
Previous experience with start-to-finish high-frequency (2+ GHz) floating-point pipelines leading development from architecture all the way through design, verification, physical design, and silicon bring-up phases.
Deep understanding of arithmetic pipeline optimization for power/perf/area.
Multi-format vector arithmetic expertise.
Transcendental function expertise.
SIMD / VLIW experience.
2-4 years’ experience developing hardware models in C/C++.
Team player with excellent communication skills and a growth mind set.
