Accenture’s Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practice empowers our clients to automate and manage their infrastructure through code, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability. These practices are essential for driving IT-enabled innovation and operational excellence. IaC professionals are proficient in modern IT methodologies and specialize in key areas such as Configuration Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Cloud Infrastructure Automation, Infrastructure Orchestration, and Compliance as Code.

You Are:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives within the Infrastructure Advisory practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of IaC solutions, enabling our clients to modernize their infrastructure capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering, cloud technologies, and IaC best practices, combined with strong leadership and advisory skills to deliver value-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

IaC Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute IaC strategies to help clients transition to automated, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platforms.

Advisory Services: Provide thought leadership and advisory on IaC adoption, including tool selection, best practices, and integration with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Solution Architecture: Collaborate with solution architects to design modular and reusable IaC templates that align with clients' operational and business goals.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring they deliver high-quality IaC solutions and align with organizational objectives.

Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, define project scopes, and deliver advisory reports that align with their transformation goals.

Compliance and Security: Ensure all IaC solutions meet compliance, governance, and security standards, including Policy as Code integration.

Tooling Expertise: Evaluate and implement tools like Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, and CloudFormation for IaC development and deployment.

Cost Optimization: Develop cost-efficient IaC strategies, leveraging automation and cloud-native tools to optimize infrastructure expenses.

Training and Evangelism: Drive awareness and education around IaC practices, conducting workshops and creating knowledge-sharing forums for internal and client teams.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's What You Need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud solutions, or DevOps

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for Infra Automation.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with version control systems (Git) and workflow tools.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional).

  • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or similar.

  • DevOps-related certifications (e.g., CKA, Kubernetes, Jenkins).

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving aptitude.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.
