Job Description

Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in the design, development, and manufacture of sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for the most demanding challenges. Our products and capabilities are sought after by civilian and military organizations spanning numerous global markets, including Aviation, Communication, Electronic Warfare (EW/ECM/CIED), Industrial, Missile/UAV, Radar, Satcom, Space, and Test and Measurement. Teledyne Microwave Solutions invests heavily in research and development to maintain the ability to offer the world’s most advanced MW/RF capabilities for current and emerging challenges.

Teledyne Microwave Solutions is looking for an Assembler for Day Shift. This person will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Perform wedge bond gold wire on modules and top-level assemblies per MIL-STD-883 specifications.

  • Perform ball bond gold wire on modules and top-level assemblies per MIL-STD-883 specifications.

  • Gap weld gold ribbons using parallel gap and thermocompression techniques.

  • Perform Bond Pull, destruct, and non-destruct per MIL-STD-883 specifications.

  • Perform die shear per MIL-STD-883 specifications.

  • Perform die attach using epoxy, gold-tin, gold germanium, and gold-silicon performs.

  • Perform substrate attach to carriers using epoxy, gold-tin, gold-germanium, and gold silicone performs.

  • Perform 100% in-process inspection at each assigned process step.

  • Perform rework as directed by Process Engineering and Supervisor.

  • Clean parts using solvent-based and plasma cleaning technologies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform precision manual tasks under a microscope.

  • Basic computer skills; Word, Excel, and Access.

  • Must be able to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.

  • Minimum experience 5-6 years in previous assembly work.

  • US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.

Salary Range:

$49,830.00-$66,550.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
