Our Software Engineering Team is responsible for the Salesforce CPQ/Order Management for GFiber Enterprise applications. Our team’s leadership is notable for listening to feedback and transparent decision-making as we iterate and deliver features quickly with an MVP mindset.

Role Description

As a Application Engineer III, specializing in Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into innovative solutions within our Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for implementing Salesforce solutions that align with industry best practices while conducting rigorous peer code reviews. Your deep experience in Salesforce development, coupled with expertise in Vlocity and OmniScript, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions.

In this role, you'll:

  • Design and develop scalable solutions within our Salesforce instance for CPQ, OM, and Billing.

  • Evaluate existing code and produce well-designed, testable, efficient code that helps reduce technical debt over time and establish a technology roadmap with system architects.

  • Partner with cross-function partners (e.g., Sales, Channels) to translate their needs into prioritization, project implementation, user acceptance training, and post-go-live activities in Salesforce.

  • Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, API’s and Force.com applications.

  • Present and conduct trainings and demos for internal stakeholders around their requested features.

At a minimum we'd like you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

  • 7 years of designing and developing enterprise-level applications.

  • 7 years in Salesforce development with an understanding of the Salesforce Security model and Sales/Salesforce Experience Cloud.

  • 6 years of experience with Apex.

  • 2 years of experience with Vlocity and/or Omniscript.

  • Direct experience in Salesforce configuration/customization using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, Lighting web components (LWC), and Vlocity (CPQ).

It's preferred if you have:

  • Certification as a Salesforce developer (PD2, System Arch, Integration Arch etc).

  • Experience in the SaaS technology environment.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration environments.

  • Experience using web services architectures (e.g., REST, SOAP).

  • Experience with leveraging object-oriented programming and integration applications (e.g., Apigee).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $157,000 - $172,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
