Rehabco, Inc. Financial Services - General in Mount Vernon, Washington

Job Summary: Rehabco, Inc. is a supported living agency for adults with developmental disabilities. Working out of our Mount Vernon office, the Financial Office Coordinator follows all state and federal guidelines and ensures the clients' financial needs are being met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pay client rent and household bills using online bill-pay, debit cards, or writing checks.
  • Budget client spending.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements using Quicken.
  • Complete client review forms from a variety of government agencies to ensure clients continue to receive benefits. Provide proof of income and expenses as requested to agencies.
  • Maintain constant communication with the Financial Office Manager, Director of Community Services, and Supported Living Program Managers.
  • Serve as back-up to other Financial Office Coordinators for vacation or illness.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old as required by WA DSHS and DDA.
  • Prior bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Criminal Background Check as required by Chapter 388-06 WAC;
  • Ability to be non-judgmental and work professionally with people regardless of their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other perceived disposition.
  • Previous experience in administrative/office/clerical work preferred but not required.
