Ariel Corporation Maintenance Technician
LOCATION: Mount Vernon, OH, USA
Shifts:
- Monday-Thursday nights: 5pm-3:30am or 6:30pm-5am
- Friday-Sunday days: 5am-5pm; work 36 hours, get paid for 40
- Friday-Sunday nights: 5pm-5am; work 36 hours, get paid for 40
*Additional hourly shift premium for night shifts
Job Summary:
People in this role operate as true multi-craft technicians. They are responsible for maintaining the various equipment we use to machine and assemble our compressors, as well as the facilities that house them. While responding to equipment calls and performing total productive maintenance are part of the day-to-day, there are no two days that are exactly the same. This position also includes project work such as machine installs, facility and equipment upgrades, and other improvement projects. Experience with CNC machine tools, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, mechanical aptitude, and a desire for continuous improvement will set you up for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.)
- Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnosing experience (CNC machine tools, machine installs, realignments, etc.)
- Experience with or knowledge of manufacturing practices (ISO, safety, quality, etc.)
- Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Experience reading blueprints, build books, and following visual work instructions
- Experience working on projects and production maintenance planning
- 2+ years experience with PLCs and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
