TEKsystems Desktop Support in Mount Prospect, Illinois

Description:

Looking for an IT professional who possesses a strong understanding of end point hardware and application support by providing excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills. In addition, this role will require the ability to balance project work and day to day support in a fast-paced environment.

• Creating, tracking, and resolving IT trouble tickets (Level I/II)

• Windows Desktop support

• Active Directory Level I/II support (Access Controls, Group Membership, Security)

• Microsoft Exchange Level I/II support (add, manage, remove mail users)

• Experience with Microsoft 365 support including Microsoft Teams calling

• File & Print Server support/troubleshooting

• Software repository management and deployment (Windows Deployment Services)

• Hardware deployment of computers, printers etc

• General workstation troubleshooting

• Third party application support

• Maintain a register of IT assets

• Develop, maintain, and organize system administrator technical documentation

• Manage site network cabling/patching

• Participate in IT Projects

• Deliver end user technical training where required

• Provide absence cover for other site-based IT team members
