Job Description

CVS Health, a Fortune 4 company, has an opportunity to welcome a new member to the Pharmacy Maintenance Team in Mt. Prospect, IL. As an Automation Maintenance Technician, you will work with a team of multi-skilled Maintenance Mechanics, Engineers, and other technical support personnel to maintain equipment in a large volume advanced technology pharmaceutical dispensing facility. This role will allow you to repair, maintain and improve equipment to meet production goals as well as quality expectations. Your efforts will impact the lives of thousands of patients who rely on the critical medications that are dispensed by this facility. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:- Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility. - Troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and be responsible for supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems. - Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees.Your success will be determined by working in a team based environment, possessing good communication skills with the ability to work with different levels of employees with focus on customer service. Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 19.50

Maximum: 40.10

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of general maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. - 1+ years of experience of professional maintenance experience in an industrial environment. - 1+ year of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and PLC based control systems, knowledge of PLC’s, PLC troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical, fulfillment center, warehouse or healthcare environments - Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 9000, ISO 13485, FDA, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device). - A craft certification or other related certification/training.

Education

• Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required
