McLaren Health Care Systems Specialist - McLaren Careers in Mount Pleasant, Michigan

Position Summary:

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the scheduling system to ensure accurate employee time and attendance records. Troubleshoots current and potential issues to minimize/eliminate disruptions. Provides education and support to the staff ensuring consistent application across users. Provides administrative/clerical support to department staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

:

  1. Maintains and monitors scheduling system to ensure accurate employee time and attendance records.

  2. Provides education and training on the operation of the scheduling system.

  3. Investigates potential and reported issues/errors with the system that occur due to data interfaces between the scheduling system and other integrated information systems.

  4. Acts as a liaison between end users and information system experts to resolve system issues. May work with vendors to resolve software problems.

  5. Acts as system resource to end users; answering questions and resolving their issues.

  6. Assists in development of standard processes and procedures as related to the scheduling system.Recommends changes to increase overall department effectiveness.

Required:

  • Associate degree in business related field.

  • Two years of experience in a health care setting.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience with staffing and scheduling systems, such as Clairvia, Kronos, or Ansos.

  • Prior experience with onboarding, orientation or training activities.
