Position Summary:

The School of Politics, Society, Justice and Public Service at Central Michigan University is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time, 2-year fixed term faculty position in our face-to-face Bachelor of Social Work (BSW ) program beginning August, 2024. Candidates must be able to teach courses in Introduction to Social Work, Generalist Social Work Practice, and a Practicum Seminar. 

Required Qualifications:

• Masters in Social Work from an accredited program • LMSW in the State of Michigan • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five years of direct practice and administrative experience in a child welfare or other generalist social work setting • Prior teaching experience in a BSW or MSW program and/or experience as a field/practicum instructor • Proficiency with online educational tools preferred
