Position Summary:

The Business Information Systems (BIS ) Department in the College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track teaching position for the fall 2024 semester.

Due to strong growth, the BIS department has teaching needs in the areas of introductory business, teamwork, communication, career management, and leadership.

Primary responsibilities include teaching face-to-face undergraduate business courses. 

Required Qualifications:

• A PhD or an industry professional with a master's degree and relevant experience. • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience or higher education experience.

About the Department:

Central Michigan's Department of Business Information Systems offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Systems and Applied Business Communication. The department offers courses in introductory business, information systems, data analytics, cybersecurity, project management, and ERP for graduate and undergraduate students. The Department also houses the highly reputable SAP University Alliance Program that prepares students for TS410 SAP certification.
