Lockheed Martin Subcontract Manager (Full Time Telework) in Mount Laurel, New Jersey

THE WORK

As a **Subcontract Management Professional**, you will play a critical role in supporting various International Aegis Baseline Programs and SPY-7 efforts within the Asia Region. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing large, complex services and hardware subcontracts

- Building and sustaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

- Collaborating cross-functionally within the program team to drive results

- Reporting status and performance metrics to ensure milestones are met

- Ensuring the timely delivery and quality of services and products

- Actively managing supplier performance to ensure program success

- Providing critical proposal support to drive new business opportunities

- Proven experience in subcontract management or a related field

- Expertise in managing complex subcontracts, particularly within large-scale programs

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly report on performance and progress

- A track record of ensuring timely delivery and quality

- Knowledge or experience in international defense programs is a plus

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong communication and listening skills; ability to establish new relationships

• Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously

• Negotiation and cost analysis skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to travel when required; less than 25%

• Must have an active US Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment managing highly complex subcontracts

• Ability to lead projects & teams to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract Administrator/Manager.

• Possesses in-depth knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations, contract law, and defense industry procurement practices.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Control Account Management (CAM) experience

• Advanced knowledge of International Subcontracting

• Proficiency with LM P2P

• 6+ years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
