Shipping Coordinator

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for supporting our shipping operations and ensure smooth and accurate delivery of our products. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient delivery and smooth operations to our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate and support aspects of the shipping process, including order processing, packaging, labeling, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

  • Communicate with internal scheduler/planner to schedule pickups and deliveries.

  • Prepare shipping reports and maintain accurate shipping records.

  • Ensure compliance with shipping and company policies.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing shipping-related inquiries and resolving any customer issues.

  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a high standard of warehouse cleanliness and organization.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Reliable transportation.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

  • Experience in material/inventory control or related field, preferably in a warehouse setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate tasks, report issues, and provide updates on progress.

  • Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.

  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise. This includes identifying and resolving technical problems, suggesting improvements, and working collaboratively with team members to find solutions.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if required).

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity; ability to use fingers and hands to feel, handle, or squeeze; reach with hands and arms; twist/turn body; perform repetitive motions.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to move/lift up to 75+ pounds, utilizing team lifting or tools to move assembled door components when needed.

  • Adaptable and able to adjust to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.
