Medtronic Principal Technical Analyst in Mounds View, Minnesota

Position Description:

Principal Technical Analyst for Medtronic, Inc. located in Mounds View, MN. Responsible for successful implementation of SAP configuration, enhancements, processes and specifically supporting SAP Distribution processes. Plan, develop, and implement new concepts, techniques, and standards that support the strategic objectives of the distribution operations, from receipt of product from manufacturers through distribution to customers/clients. Align processes across business units & geographies, to develop solutions to complex problems. Utilize SAP ECC as an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for administering warehouse operations & automation utilizing SAP IM, SAP MM, SAP WM & SAP SD technologies. Coordinate requirements solicitation, business process definition, and technology solution research. Develop and support integrated business applications and systems architecture. Develop and deliver effective user training. Serve as a subject matter expert to other IT groups and cross-functional groups. Work with 3rd Party Logistics Providers, implement interfaces to their systems utilizing SAP IDOCS and industry standard file formats & integration tools. Implement end-to-end digital solutions involving SAP and non-SAP systems. Demonstrate efficient analytical and stakeholder coordination skills. Relocation assistance not available for this position. * Position works a hybrid model and will be onsite in Mounds View, MN location – 3 days per week. * Position requires 25% domestic and international travel to Medtronic facilities. #LI-DNI

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering field and 4 years of experience as a business systems analyst, computer systems analyst, or related occupation in medical device industry. Must possess a min. of 4 years of experience with each of the following: SAP Warehouse Mgmt. and Logistics Execution; 3PL Warehouse Mgmt. Systems integration including EDI/IDOC and 3rd party interfaces; SAP Integration with warehouse automation systems (ASRS); Solicitation, business process definition, and technology solution research; Development and support of integrated business applications and systems architecture; ECC system configuration, test scenarios definition, testing, training and documentation; Coordination with cross-functional team across time-zones. * Position works a hybrid model and will be onsite in Mounds View, MN location – 3 days per week. * Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally 25%.

Salary: $123,900 to $174,000 per year
