Job Title: AOI Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AOI Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an AOI automated machine, production line machinery, and computers. This role includes quality control, making necessary adjustments to meet product specifications, and rejecting products outside of specifications. The operator will use visual aids and follow verbal and written instructions to operate the machine, maintain records and documentation, and adhere to quality system standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate an AOI automated machine.

• Operate production line machinery and computers.

• Ensure quality control and make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.

• Reject products that do not meet specifications.

• Use visual aids, verbal, and written instructions to operate the machine.

• Maintain records and documentation.

• Participate in cross-training as needed.

• Adhere to quality system standards and safety rules, including ESD requirements.

Essential Skills

• Experience in AOI operation (6 months) or machine operation in an electronics environment (1 year).

• Familiarity with Fuji, Panasonic, or Universal machinery is preferred.

• Knowledge of setting up feeders, pulling up programs, and running a screen print.

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large, clean, and organized electronics company. The standard shift is Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am-2:00 pm or 6:00 am-2:30 pm, with some voluntary overtime on Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
