Server/bartender, also known as a service bartender, is responsible for serving food and drinks to guests, as well as bartending duties. Their job duties include:
Taking orders: Taking orders for food and drinks from customers
Serving: Delivering food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
Bartending: Mixing and serving drinks, making cocktails, and conducting wine service
Guest service: Checking on guests to ensure they are satisfied with their food and service, and responding promptly to requests
Cleaning: Cleaning and stocking the bar, tables, and counters, and filling salt and pepper shakers, and basic housekeeping duties for restroom and dining space
Safety: Complying with safety and sanitation ordinances, state liquor laws, and proper alcohol handling procedures
Other duties: Setting tables, pre-bussing tables, preparing final bills, accepting payment, and coordinating room charges
