Big Bend Community College Director of Title V HEART Grant in Moses Lake, Washington
Position Summary
Big Bend Community College (BBCC), a rural college serving vibrant, culturally rich communities in the Columbia Basin of Central Washington invites applications for a Director of Title V Project HEART Grant. The Director of the Title V Project HEART Grant is responsible for the organization, management, planning, implementation, continuous review, and analysis of the Title V HEART (Healthcare, Enrollment, Academic Retention, and Technology) Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) grant for Big Bend Community College (BBCC).
This position provides grant project leadership and works closely with all personnel assigned to these grants. This individual also works with program faculty, division chairs, deans, and vice-presidents to complete grant objectives. The director interacts with representatives of government, industry, K-12 schools, other colleges and universities, and business partners. This position reports to the Vice President of Learning & Student Success.

Essential Job Duties
Primary essential duties and responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following:
Provide overall project leadership for the Title V HEART Grant, keeping BBCC administration apprised of relevant grant objective progress and concerns.
Oversee and approve planning and implementation of all HEART grant activities, which include:
Increasing BBCC enrollment of underserved students including high school graduates, adult students, and students in off-campus programs
Addressing academic needs of underserved students through healthcare program expansion, developing high school to college pathways, BEdA to college pathways, and integrated instruction & academic supports.
Meeting social and support needs of underserved students through upgraded instructional spaces, supports for new students, community building strategies, and a student progression and completion adv
