The Territory Director of Business Developmentis responsible for developing new and maintaining existing client relationships with preclinical and clinical organizations to grow, retain, and sustain company business and is responsible for all aspects of business development and the promotion of services offered byAlturas Analytics, Inc. TheTerritory Director of Business Developmentwill serve as the primary point of contact for new potential clients as well as existing clients needing the servicesAlturas Analytics, Inc. provides and will also be responsible for responding to RFPs and developing sales in their respective territories.

We are seeking candidates residing in the Western half of the United States. However, all qualified candidates from other regions will be considered.

Essential Responsibilities, Duties, and Roles:

  • Assist in business development efforts as defined by annual and quarterly business development strategy to grow revenue.
  • Prospect and qualify new accounts and business that would benefit from Alturas Analytics, Inc. services by territory, service platform or stage of growth.
  • Increase the value of current customers by way of interactions with scientific operations as well attracting new clients by utilization of subject matter experts to drive important scientific discussions critical to the sales process.
  • Responsible for setting appropriate territory field activities and developing these into an action plan which ensures the annual sales targets are achieved.
  • Present existing services to potential and existing clients, primarily through in-person, email, phone, and/or web meetings.
  • In close coordination with Client Services Team, engage with clients to provide and follow up with quotes, including disseminating information internally, following up with clients and taking necessary steps to facilitate close.
  • Coordinate timely visits to well-qualified prospective or current accounts for the sales team.
  • Track all efforts in Client Relationship Management (CRM); assist with database management and business analytic reporting (designing / running reports; developing dashboards, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly territory analysis reports for leadership review.
  • Attend trade shows and sales meetings, as required.

Additional Duties and Tasks as assigned:

  • Prepare business agreements to include project estimates, quotes, and Statements of Work
  • Support marketing efforts, including generating content, developing collateral, coordinating e-blasts, social media, etc.
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
