GREAT SAND Dunes OASIS Servers - Waiters/Waitresses in MOSCA, Colorado
JOB TITLE: Servers - Waiter/Waitress
MUSTS: Have reliable transportation to get to get to and from work. Must be dependable, and have good people skills. Must be able to perform the physical requirements and needs of the job including, but not limited to; standing and walking for extended periods of time, stooping, reaching, bending, twisting/turning, pushing/pulling, crouching, lifting and carrying up approximately 5 to 10 pounds as needed. Have good hearing, vision, and manual dexterity. Will work in a restaurant setting with normal associated hazards.
SKILLS: Will train. Prefer some customer service and cash handling experience, but not required.
DUTIES: Help seat customers, take drink orders and deliver drinks, take food orders, deliver food and necessary condiments. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems, or provide other items and service. Collect payments from customers. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Take payment and make change. Assist in cleaning tables and keeping dining area clean. Other related duties as assigned by the employer.
WAGES: $14.50 per hour, plus tips. Paid bi-weekly.
BENEFITS: No Benefits at this time.
JOB TO START: Immediately, as soon as qualified applicants are hired.
DURATION: This is a temporary position going into approximately October.
SHIFT: This is a a 20 hour a week position that could increase to 40 hours per week. May work any day Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 7:30am to 9:30pm. Days and hours will be discussed with and assigned by the employer.
