Commercial HVAC Installer -- Lead Mechanic

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanic that is responsible to Install various types of Commercial HVAC systems.
• To lead a crew (apprentice) to remove and Install new equipment in residential homes.
• To complete high and low voltage wiring necessary to complete proper startup of equipment.
• To complete all refrigerate piping, brazing, proper evacuation, and micron testing.
• To properly configure/set up and start up t-stat and equipment for proper operation.
• To properly install flue or pvc venting.
• Comfortable to communicate with customers and team.

Requirements:

• Experienced installer 5+ years of experience.
• Organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently- maximizing productivity and minimizing down time.
• Utilize an electronic tablet for all facets of information sharing, scheduling, emails, etc.
• Carrying and climbing ladders.
• Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, such as PPE, safety procedures and/or the maintenance of a clean work area.
• EPA Type I + Type II refrigeration certification (Type III is a plus!).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime.
• Reliability / dependability.
• Valid drivers license.

This position requires a range of physical abilities consisting of climbing, carrying 50 lbs. or more, bending, reaching, kneeling, crawling, push/pull, heights, confined spaces, etc.

*Salary commensurate with experience*

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
