As a Civil Engineer and vital member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design horizontal and vertical track alignments so we can shape lasting solutions for the future. You will perform civil design calculations, prepare sketches, and similar technical work as required. We’ll ask you to provide quantity calculations to prepare preconstruction cost estimates for rail/transit projects.
Working alongside a team, you’ll be responsible for creating design and drawings using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals. You’ll support the development of Contract Documents for Construction. Also, by assisting in Construction Phase Services reviewing Contractor submittals and requests for information based upon field conditions you’ll ensure we’re doing better together!

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer in Training Certification (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE)
• Has demonstrated years of professional experience on rail and transit projects
• Professional expertise with MicroStation and/or InRail
• Knowledge of AREMA and local railroad criteria
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates strong problem solving mindset working in Team Environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong focus on client service
• Ability to assemble plan sets meeting client expectations
