Morris Hospital CATH LAB TECHNOLOGIST in MORRIS, Illinois
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
A member of the Health Care Team who provides patient services by participating in the delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular radiologic procedures in the Catherization Lab. Other duties may include providing care in Cardiology Diagnostic areas as assigned after completing appropriate demonstration and documentation of competency (i.e. assisting with stress testing performing 12 lead EKG).
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional/Educational
Graduate of Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent.
A.R.R.T. registered with I.E.M.A licensure (or eligible) preferred.
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Certification in Interventional Radiology with A.R.R.T. or RCIS preferred.
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date.

Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
Ability to follow directions accurately.
Has the ability to work in harmony very closely with all employees, patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital employees.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
