Southwestern Energy is searching for a Maintenance Technician in the Wetzel County Area.

The Maintenance Technician assists the Field Maintenance Team in their operational endeavor to maintain/service production and facilities equipment in the field. Would be required to plan, coordinate, and physically carry out maintenance tasks at the field level. This position requires flexible work hours, and includes weekends.

To be successful in the role you will:

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of natural gas equipment.

• Make mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs on equipment such as light and heavy generators, natural gas fired engines, compressors, gas coolers, and appurtenances.

• Perform preventative maintenance and machine inspections and document the work

• Troubleshoot issues with natural gas engines and associated mechanical equipment

• Determine and utilize appropriate parts and tools for mechanical repairs and maintenance

• Complete service and repair documentation within work tracking system(s)

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Responsibly manage inventory of company supplied tools and parts

  Your Background includes:

• Zero to three (3) years experience with natural gas fired equipment maintenance and repair or acceptable equivalent

• High School Diploma or GED certificate

• Manual dexterity

• Flexible regarding work hours, including weekends

• Ability to routinely lift and carry 70 pounds

• Must be US Perm Resident
