Description The department of Alumni Relations at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Membership Coordinator. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Vice President of Alumni Relations, the Membership Coordinator is responsible for managing membership processing, events, plans, campaigns, customer response and benefit/service partners for the WVU Alumni Association membership program. To fulfill the duties of the position, the Membership Coordinator interacts directly with vendors, service providers, University staff, Foundation staff, students, alumni and Association members. Wellness programs What You'll Do: Serves as the primary liaison between the organization and its members. Implements short- and long-range membership marketing and stewardship plans. With the plan as the guide, collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Specialist to facilitate the development of multi-media membership marketing materials and the identification of target audiences. With the plan as the guide, collaborates with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Specialist in the development and execution of campaigns designed to increase membership. Collaborates with UE partners on membership related initiatives including but not limited to the Executive Director of Marketing, Marketing Strategist, and Editor of the WVU Magazine. Cultivates relationships and partnerships with internal membership stakeholders including but not limited to WVU schools, colleges and units. Maintains working relationships with and serves as the staff liaison to industry vendors used in the execution of membership onboarding, benefits and stewardship activities. Negotiates and manages agreements with membership vendors and service providers. In collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications and Marketing Specialist, consistently audits and updates the Association's membership web presence and user experience.
