Responsible for overseeing all aspects of inpatient rehabilitation services within the unit. Position ensures high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. Responsible for leading the overall operations of multiple specialties (including physical, occupational, and speech therapy and nursing care within the acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Directs the development and implementation of policies, procedures, processes, strategies, and planning for the unit. Will consistently demonstrate support of the WVU Medicine statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and the community being served.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Pathology. 2.Current certification/licensure in the state of West Virginia or obtain within 90 days of hire. 3.Basic Life Support certification or obtain certification within 30 days of hire date. 4.Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification. If not, must attain within one (1) year of hiring. EXPERIENCE 1.Five (5) years of relevant clinical experience and Two (2) years of leadership experience required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1.Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field. EXPERIENCE 2.Three (3) years acute rehabilitation experience preferred. 3. Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification.
