Job Title: Furnace Operator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to join our team, responsible for flame cutting bulk weldable material to size and assembling barwelds from scrap and electrodes by MIG welding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using equipment to cut metal with propylene and oxygen and/or plasma torches, setting up material on a water bed in a torch booth, planning jobs to preserve material, and maintaining traceability of materials. Additionally, the role involves making minor repairs or adjustments to equipment, operating material handling equipment safely, and completing all related paperwork accurately.

Hard Skills

• Experience in welding or fabrication

• Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment

• Machine setup and breakdown

• Forklift operation

• Ability to use propylene and oxygen/plasma torches

• Material handling equipment operation

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Morgantown, Pennsylvania.
