Must have 3-5 years of experience running heavy equipment digging around utilites, installing water lines, deep sewer lines, and storm drains. Must be able to do roadway mass excavations, safely excavate around existing utilities, and check elevations. Operate various pieces of large equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety regulation. Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality. Document regular maintenance checks to maintain adequate records of equipment performance. Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality. Report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties. Commit to the overall safety of the work enviornment buy always taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration. Supervise and coordinate tasks for crew members.
