Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production machines. You will diagnose machine problems and apply appropriate actions to correct them. You will comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Additionally, you will be responsible for equipment setup and preparation for production, as well as conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. You will utilize your knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and apply your skills to restore equipment to operation. You will provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of plant production and facilities, and utilize your skills to read and modify existing PLC/Robot/Vision programs to fix or make improvements to manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance on production machines.
Diagnose machine problems and correct with appropriate actions.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform equipment setup and preparation for production.
Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
Apply knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation.
Provide skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of plant production and facilities.
Read and modify existing PLC/Robot/Vision programs to fix or make improvements to manufacturing equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma required
Associates degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
2-3 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
