Lowe's ProServices Program Analyst in Mooresville, North Carolina

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to, develop, communicate, implement, and manage the business development, integration, and connection of ProServices business tools and programs into the company. Development and operation of both store internal tools/systems communications and promotions allows the organization to maximize growth objectives for the business as a key responsibility of this position. Specifically this position manages, identifies and makes decisions on the day-to-day communication of ProServices programs. This position interacts with all multiple s of the organization including but not limited to store employees, field management, executive management, vendors, corporate partners, and all departments in the corporate office to facilitate the execution and completion of projects and programs that are identified as critical by the Director and Vice-President of ProServices. This position interacts closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and the communications teams to ensure all Pro relevant information is created, integrated, communicated and leveraged, to maximize the effectiveness of all Pro related efforts. This position makes key decisions on a daily basis, regarding intake of new information, what to do with the information, and resolution communication to affected parts of the organization. This position is expected to make these autonomous decisions with little or no approval from management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and drives continuous improvement of current business processes as a result of the downstream effect of broader company initiatives, systems changes, ideation efforts, efficiencies, etc.

  • Creates a collaborative environment by working in a team of peers to solve problems and shares information with peers, manager, sales teams, and customers as appropriate

  • Identifies needs and develops processes, policy, and training for field teams (AEPs) through: onboarding, training, Q&A, reporting, research, collaboration, resources, strategic planning, and connectivity with other field and store team members; schedules, leads and attends select meetings (physical & virtual), select events, and customer site visits to gain knowledge and provide support to maximize the effectiveness of these occurrences

  • Creates innovative and informative training and educational materials, including PowerPoint presentations and documents to educate field, store and CSC personnel on ProServices topics

  • May perform research regarding current and potential ProServices customers; makes suggestions to or provides such information to sales teams to optimize sales strategies, promotions and events

  • May analyze pro customers’ habits and tendencies, in order to maintain and enhance new programs and processes that will attract profitable Pro business

  • Communicates with and interacts with other corporate departments (e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, LOE, Store/Internal Communications, BTV, FP&A, Credit, Human Resources) to learn about and then maintain/enhance existing programs and processes

  • Communicates with and interacts with stores, vendors, and outside agencies to maintain/enhance existing programs and develop new programs

  • Oversees, develops, and drives the ProServices related Communities via Connections to drive and support all communication, training, and general support/awareness when it comes to Pro initiatives

  • Continuously evaluates all Pro store operations and CSC sales support tools for opportunities to improve and allow stores, AEP’s, and CSC teams to collaborate and more easily access information

  • Presents in classroom setting as needed to educate corporate colleagues on current Pro topics.

  • Performs regular local store visits to determine effectiveness of new and existing programs; interviews salespeople in the field and questions pro customers to establish productivity of new programs and processes

  • May serve as representative at industry-specific conventions and tradeshows or collaborate with attendees and leverage communication mediums to share relevant outcomes, strategies, or new products/programs

  • Provides necessary support to ProServices store teams, field management, corporate field teams and corporate management to maximize all sales and growth opportunities for pro sales

  • Serves as the collaboration consultant for key initiatives like LowesForPros.com, PBM, new programs or field organization communities on connections

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Business Administration, Communication, Education/Training, or related field and 5-7 years of relevant professional experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Communication, Education/Training, or related field and 1-2 years of relevant professional experience

  • Technical: Excellent familiarity with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, word-processing, spreadsheets, e-mail), video editing, ability to analyze data

  • Communication: Superior verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, communication skills, ability to lead meetings, speak intelligently to various groups of people both internally and externally on behalf of the company. Effectively interact with all levels of management

  • Professionalism: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to present effectively in front of large groups that could be store personnel, field team, executive management, customers, etc. Experience in project/event development experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Leadership: Possess strong team Building; coaching; negotiation; conflict resolution; salesmanship skills, promotes learning, constant development, etc. Experience leading cross functional teams across a large organization in systems and process analysis and execution, defining new requirements, and solving complex situations.

  • Proven experience in Home Improvement or Industrial/Commercial Supply House very helpful, with experience at Lowe’s or another mass retailer extremely helpful
