Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Mooresville, North Carolina

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

$30/hr Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (2-2-3 rotation of days) Training: First shift during training (approximately 3 months)

Responsibilities: - Respond rapidly to all production breakdowns with a strong sense of urgency - Install, maintain, and repair machinery such as candy forming machines, high-speed twist, pillow and roll wrapping machines, vertical and horizontal bagging machines, overwrap packaging machines, confectionary cooking and tempering machines, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pick & place packaging equipment - Interpret blueprints, sketches, and other specifications - Troubleshoot and repair vacuum, centrifugal, diaphragm, gear, and reciprocating pumps - Repair and adjust motors, controls, electric tools, and other electrical equipment - Perform basic welding and pipefitting

Requirements: - Must supply a quality set of standard and metric size mechanic's tools - Must pass drug and background checks - Must be open to 12-hour night shift differential - Must be a team player and able to handle multiple tasks

Job Type

This is a fully on-site position in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Work Environment

Very clean environment. Climate-controlled. Steel toes, safety glasses, ear plugs, and hair net are required.
