Chervon North America Key Account Representative | Power Tools in Mooresville, North Carolina

Job Summary:

The Key Account Representative is responsible for building revenue and profit through the Lowe’s retail channel.  They must have a strong sense of ownership and urgency that drives results.  The Key Account Representative will provide leadership to the broader shared service functions that support digital content, forecasting, logistics, brand marketing, and finance. The Key Account Representative will be responsible for revenue growth in-store and online, profitability, analytics, promotions, forecasting, and brand presence.  Professional intelligence that facilitates effective external and internal communications, coupled with the ability to turn data into actionable insights are also key skills required to succeed.  This position will be focused on working directly with the various internal teams including Merchandising, Branding, Marketing, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Account Management as well as a key point of contact for the customer for the brands and/or product categories of responsibility.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develops category strategy and executes a tactical plan to drive sales growth of assigned brands and categories.

  • Analyzes POS, event results and related metrics to evaluate and refine strategies/tactics.

  • Work cross-functionally with global business, brand, and digital marketing teams.

  • Develops quarterly promotional plan for assigned brands and categories.

  • In-store off shelf promotions

  • Online promotions

  • Interfaces directly with Lowes to achieve sales/margin/inventory objectives.

    Sales and Account Management

  • Drives revenue of assigned brands and categories

  • Develops relationships with Lowe’s core merchants, online merchants, and product development managers.

  • Drives profitable growth to meet or exceed annual revenue and profit plan.

  • Negotiates all programs, promotions to deliver agreed account proformas.

  • Develops and manages promotional budget in coordination with global business teams.

  • Creates monthly and annual sales reports in accordance with key performance indicators.

  • Support store and merchandise execution.

  • Manages entry and exit strategy of assigned product categories.

  • Includes store assortment recommendations.

    Product, Channel and Pricing

  • Places new and existing product through product line reviews, new product launches, etc.

  • Works closely with marketing and product development teams on product offering, pricing, and promotions

  • Works closely with brand management and product management to maintain a robust and comprehensive product road map for the channel.

  • Works with inventory management team to ensure forecast and supply chain is correct on a monthly basis.

    Required Skills & Abilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • 2-5 years of experience in outside sales/account management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting; financial management; merchandising

  • Excellent business management and developmental skills

    Travel:

    This position requires up to 20% travel; limited weekend events & international. Hybrid work arrangement based on needs of the business.
