THE WORK
• Receives, stores and issues parts and general supplies.
• Verifies identity and quantity of shipments received by counting or weighing and comparison with accompanying paperwork and other references; opens containers as necessary using hand tools and stores materials in appropriate locations in accord with system in use.
• Accumulates and delivers materials to locations as required, using material handling equipment and/or points out stock locations to obtain materials and supplies production operation.
• Notifies inventory control or responsible parties of material discrepancies or shortages; prepares paperwork associated with function and forwards paperwork to processing control centers.
• Performs physical inventories.
• Stores returned surplus materials and parts using a numerical or specification identification system.
• Able to perform inventory investigations of part locations, quantities and history.
• Performs tasks incidental to completion of assignments and works from written and/or verbal instruction.

You have a proven track record of efficiently managing inventory, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent support to a team.

Basic Qualifications:
• Picking, packing, and stocking experience is required
• Prior warehouse experience
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Reliable, adaptable, and punctual
• Accuracy and speed
• Computer Literacy and Technology Skills
Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Desired Skills:
• Able to maintain Forklift Certification.
• Ability to operate a computer and execute SAP software for inventory transactions.
• Ability to complete required training to execute transactions in an MRP environment (SAP).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently. No physical restrictions. The ability to travel independently between all buildings.
• Able to stand, kneel, squat, lie flat, climb and work for extended periods, frequently at heights approaching 20’, while operating manual and powered hand tools.
• Posses a valid driver’s license.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
