Description

We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Moody, Alabama. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, handling various accounting functions using Sage 100, ensuring accurate data entry, and managing both accounts payable and receivable. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient processing of customer credit applications utilizing your proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Engage in regular communication with vendors when necessary

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when needed

• Handle invoice creation, order input, and invoicing to clients, leveraging your skills in Billing Functions and Order Entry

• Maintain responsibility for PO invoice entry and posting invoices

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various data management tasks

• Ensure accurate data entry - numeric, and regular data entry

• Possibility of handling payment posting or collections, depending on evolving needs.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Sage 100 software is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle Billing Functions

• Skilled in Order Entry

• Proficient in Data Entry - Numeric

• Experience with general Data Entry tasks

• Ability to Enter Vendor Invoices

• Experience in Posting Invoices

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
