Ingersoll Rand Customer Service Representative in Monza, Italy



FOCUS : Spare parts offers preparation, sales channel management and interaction with customers for the assigned opportunities. Define actions in order to create and pursue new aftermarket opportunities among existing installation bases. Establish new contacts and reinforce the existing ones inside customer organization in order to expand aftermarket business.

In the position of Customer Service Rep , you will be focusing on development and execution of sales activities for spare parts, reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, having direct interaction with customers, and supporting the available and relevant sales channels.

As a sales specialist with a sound technical base and product knowledge, your main role is to pro-actively develop spare parts sales,

Active presence in front of the customers to present and negotiate commercial and technical proposals is also required for the role.


  • Meet the assigned sales booking targets

  • Pursue aftermarket sales opportunities through offers preparation in line with company guidelines;

  • Build and maintain long-term customers relationship;

  • Identify and develop new aftermarket sales opportunities in line with company sales strategy, to maximize sales performance, growth and customer satisfaction;

  • Interactions with sub suppliers in order to obtain technical and commercial proposal for buyout items;

  • Cooperation with existing sales channels;

  • Customer Terms & Conditions understanding and negotiation in order to establish Garo commercial conditions;

  • Cooperate and interact with the other inside company cross functions;

  • Sales funnel updates and management for a weekly review with direct manager and set up of opportunities into Sales Force.com platform;

  • Sales orders booking in SAP;


  • Promote a positive Company vision and values;

  • Continuously improve Customer-focused culture;

  • Travel: occosionally


  • Preferred Engineering degree with relevant sales experience;

  • Strong SAP knowledge;

  • Experience with main Terms & Conditions negotiation;

  • Solid experience in sales environment for OIL&GAS/Petrochemical markets, for engineered products;

  • Technical education supported by commercial experience;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in Italian and English languages;


  • Business and results oriented person;

  • Advanced sales and analytic skills;

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, good relationship management abilities (internal and external);

  • Understanding of multi-cultural environment and rules of matrix organization.

  • Strong inclination in team working
