Description

We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join a growing business in the Montville area. This Bookkeeper will get the chance to join a dynamic team that is growing, loves to promote within, and offers a flexible working schedule. In this Bookkeeper role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounting and financial activities for the small business. The ideal Bookkeeper will have 3+ years of bookkeeping experience and must be proficient in QuickBooks. Other responsibilities of this Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to:

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including billing, financial statements, etc.

• Oversee the payments of all accounts, ensuring timely payment.

• Handle the processing of accounts and collection of payments.

• Will handle payroll entries (use ADP who does the true processing).

• Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts.

• Prepare and organize financial statements for record and review.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting.

This Bookkeeper opportunity pays between $65,000 and $75,000 annually depending on experience. If interested in this Bookkeeper role, apply today!

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar accounting position

• Proficient in account reconciliation and managing accounts payable and receivable

• Experience in performing bank reconciliations

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks (desktop and/or online version)

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
